Job Description

The Project Management Office within the Steam Operations organization at Con Edison is seeking a dedicated Senior Specialist to support project planning and execution. This role involves developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules using project management software to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and corporate standards. The Specialist will collaborate closely with project managers to support the capital procurement process and prepare monthly project forecast reports.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Create and update project schedules using project management software and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables against established schedule dates, identifying any deviations or potential delays.
• Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project schedule, and work with project managers to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Work with project team to ensure resources are assigned to respective tasks.
• Provide regular updates on project status, such as progress reports, schedule forecast, scheduling risks to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure project schedules meet standard and align with Con Edison policies and procedures.
• Support capital procurement process.
• Work with project managers to develop and maintain monthly project forecast documents.
• Support other Steam Operations Project Management Office duties.
