Location: Wyoming, DE Start Date: October 27, 2025 Duration: 30 Weeks Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person | 37.5 hours/week Interview Format: Virtual

Position Summary:

Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality services to students in our Pre-K Early Intervention and Itinerant Services program. This full-time, in-person contractor role supports students with diverse learning needs and developmental challenges, working collaboratively with general education staff and the Special Education Program Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to Pre-K students with exceptional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide tutorial assistance and consultation services
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
• Participate in team planning and professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Valid State Teaching Certificate (Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred)
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• Certification in Early Childhood Exceptional Children Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and/or Special Education highly preferred
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional Requirements:

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required)
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
