As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. Google Camera is Pixel's built-in camera app that brings the best of Google's imaging technology to the next generation of consumer hardware. Our mission is to make Pixel the world's best mobile phone camera, and increase the bar across image quality, performance, reliability, and polish. We collaborate closely with multiple teams across many product areas, and provide a platform to ship their latest technologies.

We are seeking experienced Android engineers to join our team and contribute to our video capture pipeline. This role involves close collaboration with User Experience (UX), Product Manager (PM), and partner teams to develop and deliver innovative video features, ensuring an exceptional user experience.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
