FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41/ hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Sleep Study Technologist, where you will play a critical role in providing care for patients undergoing sleep studies and treatments for sleep disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for patient arrivals by setting up and equipping the necessary testing tools. Conduct patient interviews to assess sleep disorder issues and thoroughly explain testing procedures.
• Carry out sleep testing and any additional assessments required for identified sleep disorders.
• Score, interpret, and report sleep study results. Educate patients on their results, available community support groups, and relevant resources.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain the equipment used in testing. Monitor for repair and replacement requirements.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). State licensure as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
• Minimum Experience: None required.
