What You'll Do
We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant in the digital product space with a strong business and/or technology consulting background. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engagements, demonstrating expertise in product and advisory capacities. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for delivering with excellence, fostering trusted relationships with clients and team members, and driving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivery and Engagement Leadership
o Take ownership of engagement and team outcomes, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
• Strategic Planning
o Facilitate collaboration among leadership teams, technology and business partners, and product owners to ensure the product strategy is well-integrated and balanced.
o Develop and monitor metrics that indicate product performance against intended business value
• Product Roadmapping
o Align to the long-term product strategy, manage product roadmap
o Lead prioritization and processes to deliver on roadmap, make evidence-based decisions, and balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders
• Benefits Measurement & Tracking
o Track the performance of products and features through analytics
o Introduce rigor and processes to improve team speed-to-value, design, engineering, and business teams in ongoing discovery and delivery of products
• Market/Competitive Analysis & Research
o Analyze competitors, understand market segments, and identify the most effective marketing and distribution channels
o Understand customers needs, pain points, purchasing patterns
o Develop business cases and provide input for product pricing
• Leadership
o Lead and inspire high-performing Slalom/Client teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
o Provide SME expertise in the areas of product strategy and product management.
• Client and Team Relationships
o Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients and their users/markets, understanding their needs in creating and implementing products.
o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to achieve objectives.
Other Qualifications
Experience
o 5+ years of experience in the digital product space, with a focus on business and/or technology consulting.
• Leadership Skills
o Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Relationship Building
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and team members.
