Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

We have an opening for a full time Shipping/Receiving Supervisor position.

Location: 575 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10017 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous shipping and receiving experience is required. Hospitality experience is a plus. This position will require excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range: $23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and train others
• Must be able to create procedures and organize digital files (not employee files)
• A hospitality mindset is a must
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work with pallet jacks, carts, breaking down boxes, etc.
• Enough administrative skills and attention span to invest in hazmat certification. The role will require leading a hazardous shipping program
• Highly organized and poised. The environment is very high-end
• Must have proficiency in Excel, PPT, and Word
• Perform other duties as assigned.
