Summary:

Are you an experienced Ultrasound Technologist seeking an exciting opportunity? In this role, you will work with a dedicated clinical team within the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine. You will utilize your skills to set up, operate, and maintain medical ultrasound equipment while providing exceptional care to patients. You will collaborate closely with the Radiology Medical Director, assisting in patient assessment and treatments, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. Your expertise will be essential as you perform diverse and moderately complex clinical tasks, contributing to a patient-centered environment.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards established by State and Federal agencies and the hospital.
• Perform examinations and procedures to enhance patient care and throughput.
• Exhibit flexibility by working varied shifts and across multiple campuses as needed.
• Accurately scan and store completed exams in our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Utilize PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and effectively communicate issues to the PACS administrator.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and Biomedical personnel for prompt resolution.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned, contributing to overall department success.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in at least three Ultrasound disciplines such as Abdominal, Echocardiography (adult, fetal, or pediatric), OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast, or Musculoskeletal.
• 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Sonography (S) by ARRT or Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS required.
• Requires one or more of the following specialties: Breast (BR), Fetal Echocardiogram (FE), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), Pediatric Sonography (PS), Adult Echocardiography (AE), Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.
• State Licensure required if in New Mexico (DMS by MIRTP NMED).
• BLS certification required.

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday
