Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product descriptions and technical data to determine appropriate import and export classifications that comply with government standards.

• Develop and manage internal audit processes to ensure accurate product classifications and import entries.

• Address inquiries from customs brokers, government entities, internal and external customers, and vendors regarding international shipments.

• Conduct thorough research and develop processes pertaining to regulatory compliance, licenses, and government agency requirements.

• Oversee trade compliance programs, driving improvements, internal communications, team training, and audit preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• A minimum of 3 years of compliance experience.

• Licensure as a Customs Broker (LCB) or Certification as a Classification Specialist (CCLS) is a plus.

• Prior experience as a legal analyst is a plus.

• Bilingual skills are preferred.
