Senior Surgical Technologist - Operating Room

Salary Range: $51,755.37 - $77,633.06

Join our dedicated team as a Senior Surgical Technologist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care to our patients. As a member of the surgical team, you will work closely with registered nurses and surgeons, ensuring a safe operating environment and maintaining patient safety at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Preparing operating rooms and assisting with patient positioning.
• Inspecting sterile items for contamination prior to use.
• Performing accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and needles as per established policies.

This position requires the ability to function independently in the scrub role and assist as a circulator under RN supervision. Flexibility for on-call duties and rotating shifts may be necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program (CST).
• NYS LPN also acceptable.
• 1 to 3 years of scrubbing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with various specialty services preferred.
