What You'll Do

1. Lead bridge and structural design projects ranging from small drainage structures to large multi-span bridges
2. Serve as senior project engineer and client contact leading meetings, interviews, and presentations
3. Support construction by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field visits
4. Manage project budgets, scopes, and internal team forecasting
5. Guide structural design efforts for complex transportation projects
6. Maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 1015 years of bridge or structural design experience (bridges, retaining walls, foundations, culverts)
• Advanced use of structural analysis and design software
• Familiarity with AASHTO standards and procedures
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Nebraska, Iowa, or South Dakota
• Experience in concrete and steel girder bridge design; rail structure experience a plus

Compensation

$135,000 $160,000 annually. Final offer based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
