LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to staff a Senior Retirement Benefits Analyst contract role. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a lean, collaborative benefits team supporting over 5,000 employees nationwide. Your work will directly influence the financial wellness and satisfaction of the workforce.

Role: Senior Retirement Benefits Analyst Contract

Location: Houston, TX 77007 (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $40$52/hr

Schedule: MondayFriday | Flexible start times (7:30 AM9:00 AM)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer 401(k), profit sharing, and health/welfare benefit plans
• Oversee pension plan administration in partnership with Willis Towers Watson
• Respond to employee inquiries across all benefit programs
• Collaborate with internal teams (Accounting, Treasury, HR, IT) to ensure accurate payroll deductions and vendor payments
• Maintain compliance with federal regulations and audit standards
• Validate and improve interface files between vendors and HRIS/Payroll systems
• Serve as primary administrator for benefit-related systems
• Maintain plan documents, SPDs, and contracts
• Support vendor relationships and day-to-day benefits operations
• Conduct data audits and process improvements to support company growth
• Provide backup support across all benefit programs and policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retirement and health/welfare benefits
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); large data audit experience
• HRIS tech savvy; UKG experience a plus
• Benefits-related certification beneficial
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Detail-oriented with adaptability to automation and AI
• Friendly, engaging personality with ability to interact across all levels
