Senior Principal Solution Architect

Overview

Senior Principal Solution Architect to play a strategic role at the intersection of solution architecture and sales. This position will be instrumental in designing innovative solutions for prospective clients, leading complex implementation efforts, and mentoring solution architecture talent. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Project Management, Technical Development, Technical Support, Product, and Customer Success, and report directly to the Senior Director of Global Solution Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Solution Design: Partner with sales to understand client needs and design scalable, integrated solutions using the company’s platform and technologies.
• Architectural Leadership: Shape architecture strategy, standards, and methodologies; mentor junior architects and foster a high-performing technical culture.
• Technical Oversight in Implementations: Serve as technical lead on critical projects, guiding architecture decisions to ensure successful delivery and ROI.
• Offshore Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide direction to offshore development teams and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Product Feedback & Innovation: Deliver insights to product management and engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
• Pre-Sales Expertise: Support sales with demonstrations, discovery workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements; tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Industry Thought Leadership: Stay current with technologies and trends; share insights to position the company as a thought leader in mobile workforce technology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field
• At least 10 years in a solution architect, solution engineer, or similar enterprise SaaS role
• Minimum of 10 years of SaaS project delivery experience in a vendor or consulting capacity
• Demonstrated pre-sales experience including technical presentations and solution demos
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integration patterns, and data modeling
• Proficient in web services and systems integration
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to learn new platforms and technologies in fast-paced environments
• Experience leading in highly collaborative, team-oriented settings
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Salesforce)
• Familiarity with security and permissions design
• Experience creating high-quality wireframes and technical mockups

Additional Details

• Travel requirements: Up to 20%
• Must hold a valid work authorization upon hire
