Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This role is situated at our headquarters in Euclid, Ohio, and you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative deep learning models to solve complex challenges within our vision-based tools.

This position allows for hybrid work flexibility, which will be determined based on business needs. Candidates must be available to work on-site in Euclid, OH when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Create and enhance deep learning models utilizing suitable frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras tailored for manufacturing applications.
• Training and Evaluation: Train models on extensive datasets and refine hyperparameters for optimal performance.
• Deployment: Implement and deploy models in production environments, ensuring efficiency and scalability, including cloud-based platforms.
• Collaboration: Engage with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to evaluate and integrate models into services.
• Research: Continuously explore the latest trends in deep learning, including transformers and graph neural networks, applying innovative techniques to our projects.
• Documentation: Keep meticulous records of model architectures, training methods, and evaluation metrics using tools such as ML Flow.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and deploying deep learning models, particularly with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in deep learning frameworks, adept at designing custom neural networks with data augmentation and attention mechanisms, and capable of writing professional code adhering to SOLID principles and testing protocols.
• Familiar with version control tools to collaborate with team members effectively.
• Strong understanding of partial differential equations, scientific computing, and statistical methods.
