About the Role

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Support Specialist to be a crucial part of our multidisciplinary Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) team. This position will involve assisting end-users with the operation and maintenance of the Enduring Shield missile defense system from our facility or remotely.

The successful applicant will engage in daily operations, ensuring a seamless experience with Enduring Shield Launcher/Interceptor systems and related equipment. This role will require minimal supervision, as you will be expected to perform and manage sustainment tasks while gaining cross-training in different team functions.

This position is designated as Mission Essential, requiring worldwide deployments for training, military exercises, and related activities. Expect to work non-standard shifts and perform overtime as necessary in support of military operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and monitoring maintenance and sustainment programs, including service scheduling, hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and installation.

• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for failures beyond the end-user level, involving software, hardware, and network systems.

• Provide actionable recommendations based on your expertise to clients, end-users, and colleagues.

• Generate, update, and complete work orders accurately, ensuring maintenance reports are thorough and professional.

• Exhibit proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.

• Inspect and handle electrostatic sensitive devices responsibly.

• Collaborate with technical trainers to support ongoing training programs for military personnel.

• Understand and align with customer expectations to provide exceptional support and focus on the mission and values.

• Build trust through open communication with customers, end-users, and partner agencies.

• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and strong attention to detail while fostering teamwork.

• Be knowledgeable about Authorized Government Services (AGS) and OCONUS protocols for Contractors Authorized to Accompany the Force (CAAF).

• Understand temporary and long-term lodging requirements and taxation strategies for OCONUS assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

• Familiarity with basic software networking; capable of configuring software/hardware for testing.

• Experience in uploading and verifying software packages for launcher/interceptor systems.

• Meet physical standards for deployment as per DoD Instruction .

• Possess a valid U.S. Passport free of travel restrictions.

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.

• Hold a valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Pass a Pre-Deployment Health Assessment.

• Successfully complete medical, dental, and psychological screenings to be deemed fit for deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to quickly master new technical applications and training programs.

• Knowledge of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense operational procedures.

• Experience with U.S. Army Supply and Logistics systems.

• Understanding of U.S. Army Physical Security standards and COMSEC handling procedures.

• Possession of a CDL license or U.S. Government equivalent is preferred.

Pay Range:

Pay Range: $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
