Senior Consultant, Cloud Cybersecurity Operations

Job Purpose and Impact

• As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity and Technology Operations, you will design, implement, and manage robust cloud security technologies within our organization. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring we have effective protection against threats while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Technologies: Design, implement, and operate endpoint cybersecurity technologies, with a primary focus on endpoint detection and response, cloud infrastructure controls, and network protections.
• Technology Management: Lead and manage diverse technologies including wide area networks, partner gateways, IoT security, email, collaboration tools, LAN, wireless, network segmentation, VPNs, proxies, DMZs, middle-tier systems, databases, and web servers.
• Collaboration with IT Operations: Work closely with internal teams to co-create and enhance shared infrastructure initiatives.
• IT Service Management: Oversee and analyze all aspects of IT service management, including asset, change, configuration, problem, and request management.
• Research Security Needs: Investigate complex security requirements to enhance operational development with a focus on security needs definition, risk assessment, and systems analysis.
• Security Policies: Conduct in-depth analyses and partner with teams to establish security policies that align with industry standards.
• Incident Response: Prepare and execute intricate incident response protocols, disaster recovery plans, and ensure business continuity, readying the organization for potential security breaches.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, with typically 5 years or more preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, and cloud security posture management.

Compensation Information

The expected salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $170,000, subject to variations based on location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.

In Minnesota, employees accrue sick and safe leave at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year, unless otherwise mandated by law.
