We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with business partners to align technology solutions with strategic goals. T
his role supports complex business processes and backend systems, particularly involving RESTful APIs, and plays a key role in Agile teams by translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in the financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to align IT solutions with business strategies.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of business areas to identify how IT can support strategic goals.
- Support complex business processes that may span multiple functions.
- Serve as a team member or lead on projects as needed.
- Coordinate the collection, analysis, and translation of requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support product owners in prioritizing the product backlog based on business value.
- Align IT resources and processes to meet organizational needs and design enterprise solutions.
- Facilitate group sessions to gather requirements and drill into technical and business details.
- Track and drive deliverables to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Document technical and business requirements clearly and effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.
- At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with backend systems and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
