Senior Back End Software Engineer Leader

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven tools and platforms that enhance productivity and developer experiences.
• Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives, exploring innovative solutions to streamline workflows and improve onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and infrastructure engineers to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of technology projects focused on distributed microservices and full-stack systems, addressing regulatory needs.
• Stay ahead of technology trends, experimenting with new tools, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally contributing to coding efforts.
• Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
• Evaluate and integrate AI technologies to solve complex challenges and enhance enterprise-wide development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with 9+ years of experience in Java or Python.
• Advanced cloud experience (3+ years) and AI technology stack familiarity.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing and experience in machine learning/data science projects.
• Familiarity with Generative AI implementation approaches and open source frameworks.
• Experience in Agile practices, team leadership, and mentoring.
