Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS. You will leverage your expertise in AWS Trusted Advisor, the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and AWS Single Sign-On to ensure best practices across cloud environments. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure Services team and work collaboratively with our Senior Cloud Architect.

In this role, you will:

• Design and deploy scalable, secure cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business and technical requirements.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply insights from AWS Trusted Advisor to improve resource utilization and system health.
• Implement the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure alignment with cloud best practices.
• Manage AWS SSO to streamline user access and enforce robust security protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to maintain high availability and operational excellence.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with enterprise systems.
• Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and continuity.

Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Frisco, Texas. What you need to have to be considered:

• Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS.
• Deep understanding of AWS Trusted Advisor, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and AWS SSO.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
