As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, responding to security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets and may interact with alarm panels as part of your daily duties. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime: Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
• Support security-related procedures such as issuing visitor badges and providing directions or information as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and adherence to site policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all security-related documentation and materials are properly managed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
