As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.94/Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Follow all company and site-specific protocols related to the food and beverage industry, maintaining awareness of procedures that may be unique to this environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or logging visitor information as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
