Job Description

As a Security Professional Tech Site Screener in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. You will also interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out screening procedures for individuals entering the location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests by addressing inquiries and assisting with access as needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to potential security-related concerns, adapting to changing conditions within a tech and media environment.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
