As a Security Professional in Emporia, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for all on site. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact the security-related interests of the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on patrol.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while performing patrol duties.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
