As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide a sense of support to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations as mandated by the hospital or healthcare facility.
• Must be able to assist with the restraint of individuals in a hospital environment as needed.
• Must be able to perform duties in or around a hospital morgue as required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
