As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service creates a positive experience for all guests. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, staff, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures and protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disruptions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with visitors and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns when appropriate.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, procedures, and policies relevant to the front desk post at a cultural institution.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
