As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communication with appropriate personnel and first responders.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to address questions and provide information related to security-related matters.
• Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
