As a security professional in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming, customer-focused environment. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and document all security-related activities as required by site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established procedures for the location.
• Work in a variety of environments and conditions specific to chemical and petrochemical operations, adapting to site requirements as needed.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
