As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while on patrol. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and activities during each shift.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at the location.
• Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills or response efforts as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
