What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the technology and telecommunications facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or potential threats, and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience.
• Hold a current CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
