As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol - Part Time in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: DayTimeFri05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
- Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or the public while maintaining a visible presence.
- Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
- Assist with access control and/or visitor management as required by the location.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
