As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing inquiries and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Monitor and document entry and exit activity, maintaining accurate records as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, working closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Communicate promptly with site management and Allied Universal regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
