As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout the facility. You will support hospital staff and visitors by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, responding to situations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment, which may include exposure to morgue areas.
• Must be able to assist with restraining individuals as needed in a hospital setting.
• Must have required vaccinations as mandated by the hospital.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
