As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Facility - Full Time in North Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and observant while on patrol to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
