As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Evening Shift in Port Isabel, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to staff and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Possess a valid Level III Armed Certification for roles in Texas as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
