Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for corrections environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter breaches and maintain order within the corrections location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with on-site personnel and law enforcement when appropriate.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter disruptive behavior and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
