As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support site-specific security-related procedures and contribute to maintaining a secure environment for people and property at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
