As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This armed position requires you to conduct routine patrols, engage with the public, and deliver outstanding customer service while responding to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed positions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the government location to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, visitors, and law enforcement as needed while performing armed patrol duties.
• Remain alert to potential threats or hazards and report any observed irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an armed guard card or armed security license.
• Possession of handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
