DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activity within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and local authorities as needed.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related needs or emergencies as they arise.
• Follow all company and client site protocols, including those specific to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current and valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
