Your role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver includes:

• Conducting pre/post trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and filling out the necessary DOT inspection reports.
• Verifying the accuracy of bills of lading and securely managing keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Driving the tractor-trailer safely to destinations, utilizing your skills and knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Keeping a detailed driver log per DOT guidelines, noting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any issues.
• Unloading the trailer and delivering products directly into customer locations.
• Performing additional duties as required.

Are you the candidate we’re looking for? You should meet the following qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.
• A valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meeting McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively to carry out job-related tasks safely.
