Caregiver Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide service for a client in your local area. Typical job duties include:

• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands, and transportation
• Picking up prescriptions and assisting with telehealth visits
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship

Job types: Full-time, Part-time Schedule: Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Overtime, Weekends as needed, Weekends only. Work location: In person.

Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements: Cell phone with internet access, strong organizational and communication skills, reliable transportation required; personal vehicle and drivers license preferred. Certifications that are preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.

Responsibilities: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, personal care (bathing, toileting), follow a plan of care, communicate professionally, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment, valid drivers license and auto insurance, clean driving record, prior home care experience a plus, access to email and a mobile smart device, must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care.
