Sanitation Worker

Staffmark is hiring a Sanitation Worker in Moonachie, NJ! Join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility where your attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness will make a real impact. This role ensures the plant meets the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and quality.

Pay: $18/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Maintain proper sanitation throughout the facility following GMPs and the Sanitation Program
• Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas, including high and low areas using ladders and lifts
• Operate tools and equipment such as high lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, steamers, dishwashers, and floor scrubbers
• Perform inspections, replace machine parts when needed, and ensure proper chemical application and documentation
• Participate in FS&QA pre-operational inspections and perform titration testing to maintain chemical concentrations
• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
• Complete required documentation accurately and submit on time
• Assist with training new associates and perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including overtime if needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and follow directions carefully
