Sanding Technician

Our client, a leading Door Manufacturing company, is seeking a Sanding Technician to join their team. As a Sanding Technician, you will be part of the Sanding Department supporting Production and Quality Control Teams.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Wood Sanding Technician

Location: North Java, NY

Pay Range: $18-24/hour 

What’s the Job?

• Sand doors, stain-grade panels, and stain-grade jambs
• Operate sanding equipment such as widebelt sanders, DA sanders, and Quickwood machines
• Inspect and maintain product quality throughout the process
• Perform basic preventative maintenance as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Safe work habits and ability to follow directions
• Familiarity with sanding equipment and tools
• Basic knowledge of wood characteristics
• Strong willingness to learn
