Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment, identifying and responding to abnormalities or changes promptly.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions, including vital signs, physical exams, and monitoring of symptoms.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
Respond to medical emergencies, providing rapid and effective intervention.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of New York.
Minimum of 1 year of telemetry or critical care experience preferred.
ACLS and BLS certification required (AHA preferred).
Proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips and cardiac monitoring equipment.
Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
