Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both travel and local experienced RN Psych nurses in Greenville, NC!

Position: RN Psych

Shifts available:

1. Two days- 7a-7:30p, 36/48, EOW
2. Two nights- 7p-7:30a, 36/48, EOW

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center

Walter B. Jones Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center was established in Greenville, N.C., as an Alcohol Rehab Center in 1969. As the need for substance use treatment in North Carolina grew, WBJ evolved and expanded to provide the array of medically monitored services that are offered today.

First 2-4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 2-4 WEEKS.

Orientation Schedule is M-F 8a-4p

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
