Remote Rheumatologist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Remote Rheumatologist at Haskell Indian Health Center, Lawrence, KS. This contract position offers:

1. Remote, Part time up to 20 hours a month, 1 day on site every 3 months
2. 8-10 patients a day for full day telehealth, 4-5 patients a day half day telehealth
3. Must be located within 150 miles of Lawrence, KS
4. Focus on treating patients, not running a business
5. No insurance or bad debt hassles

Job Description:

• Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history and performs diagnostic tests
• Conducts outpatient clinic visits and consultations, observing patient's underlying disease and treatment plans
• Refers patients to appropriate contracted medical facilities, providing clinical information for care and diagnostic procedures
• Participates in teaching activities for clinical staff
• Performs procedures when indicated, such as joint injections
• Serves as a consultant to the Service Units medical staff in providing professional expertise

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Clinical practice experience as a Rheumatologist
• Any Active State License
• BLS
