Rewinder Operator

We are seeking a rewinder operator that is responsible for operating machines that rewind materials for labels and film from a parent roll onto smaller rolls, according to specific length or diameter requirements. The operator ensures the quality of the rewound material, maintains equipment, and may also be involved in inspecting, packaging, and shipping the finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate rewinding machines to process materials for labels and film.
• Ensure the quality of materials being rewound.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
• Inspect and package finished products.
• Prepare products for shipping.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a rewinder operator.
• Proficiency in printing and machine operation.
• Experience with splicing and loading.
• Production and machine operating skills.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in packaging.
• Familiarity with company software for updating job completion.
• Able to comfortably lift 50+ lbs without help.
• Ability to work with a manual pallet jack.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay for this position is $17/hour during your first 90 days.

Workplace Type

Work in a climate controlled facility. Monday - Friday on 1st shift. This is a fully onsite position in Jacksonville, FL.
