This role is vital for the success of our retail operations. Retail associates engage with both wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs, addressing inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggesting the best solutions. A key aspect of this position includes resolving customer concerns promptly to ensure optimal satisfaction and maintaining knowledge of product features to uphold high visual and quality standards in the store.
Join us at Store #8023, located at: 210 Crest Ridge Ln, Wentzville, MO 63385. This is a Part-Time position with a starting rate of $16.00/hr. This associate role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations within a 15-mile radius.
As a Retail Associate, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Assist customers both in-store and over the phone by identifying their needs and providing suitable product recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring a trustworthy and pleasant shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to company policies.
- Meet and strive to exceed monthly sales goals.
- Maintain and organize accurate records of work orders and product formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse and prepare them for customers.
- Tint and mix products according to customer specifications as required.
- Restock shelves and set up appealing product displays.
- Keep store equipment clean and functional.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and provide delivery support when necessary.
- Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay informed about the latest product offerings and discuss options with customers.
- Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
- Propose innovative ideas to improve sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship requirements for employment visa now or in the future.
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
- Experience in selling paint and related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Spanish.
