Restaurant Operations Assistant

The Restaurant Operations Assistant (ROA) plays a crucial role in the restaurant, focusing on enhancing profitability, ensuring guest satisfaction, supporting team growth, and managing daily operations effectively. The ROA collaborates with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to drive exceptional performance outcomes and leads a diverse team of hourly shift coordinators and team members (20-45 employees).

Key Requirements:

• Minimum age of eighteen (18) years
• High School Diploma or GED is required; completion of 2 years of college is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant setting; management experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of P&L interpretation to influence profitability
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work long and irregular shifts as needed for the restaurant's success

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory costs and perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks
• Oversee and coordinate inventory truck orders
• Maintain and monitor a detailed list of restaurant assets
• Ensure the restaurant facility and equipment receive preventative maintenance as per company standards, working with external vendors as necessary
• Adhere to all cash control and security protocols (e.g., counting cash, managing cash drawers)
• Inspire and guide team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences with quick and friendly service in a clean environment
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback to shift coordinators and team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Direct the restaurant team toward efficient preparation and timely delivery of menu items in line with established speed of service guidelines
• Uphold operational and brand standards within the restaurant
• *Step in to perform hourly shift coordinator duties when needed
