Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT NICU/PICU) Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night | 412-Hour (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the NICU/PICU respiratory team at a leading Level I Trauma and teaching hospital. The role focuses on providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care environments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced respiratory care to neonates and pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU settings.
• Perform procedures including intubation, suctioning, ventilator management, and ECMO protocol support.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries, neonatal transports, and care of patients requiring complex respiratory interventions such as jet or oscillating ventilation.
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapies, and manage medication delivery systems.
• Monitor patient responses, interpret ABG results, and document accurately in the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes in a Level 4 NICU environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU/PICU experience (first-time travelers with strong skills may be considered).
• Active RRT license and Maryland or Compact state license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Experience in trauma, pediatric critical care, and ventilator management preferred.
