The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Assists in inventory of non-Pyxis supplies. Maintains inventory of all medical gases necessary for daily operation of the Respiratory Care Department and Medical Center. Performs maintenance, daily rounds and stocking of supplies for the departmental Blood Gas Machines. Cleans and maintains Respiratory Care equipment.

Qualification

Required:

• Previous hospital or medical experience preferred. Successful completion of all required orientation programs

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• Per Diem
• Day

Essential Functions:

• Clean, stock, cover and initial all assigned or designated respiratory equipment.

• Completes all assignments in the agreed upon timeframe.

• Maintain adequate stock of all supplies used to clean all respiratory equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and order of the Medical Gas and Clean and Dirty Equipment Rooms.

• Monitor level line pressure and cylinder inventory of Nitrous Oxide system and all other Medical Center Bank Systems (oxygen, nitrogen, etc.)

• Performs other duties as requested.

• Respond to and assist the Respiratory Care Practitioner in any Medical Center emergency when needed.

• Responsible for inventory of all medical gas cylinders.

• Responsible to delivering full medical and retrieving empty gas cylinders to all areas of the Medical Center.

• Transports medications to and from the pharmacy.
