A leading residential home builder is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join their team!

Summary: The Purchasing Agent will manage procurement of materials and supplies for residential projects, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate materials, supplies, and services
• Maintain supplier relationships and track pricing/contracts
• Ensure timely delivery to meet project schedules
• Manage purchase orders, inventory, and documentation
• Resolve order discrepancies and delays
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through market research

Qualifications:

• Experience in purchasing/procurement (construction preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Knowledge of construction materials and trends
